Brickit is available for iOS right now (hit the download link below) with an Android version on the docket for the fall.Lego has worked extremely closely with Apple over the years, experimenting with unreleased iOS tech and demoing it onstage at launch events like WWDC this has included some pretty heavy tinkering on the augmented reality ARKit platform that they’ve integrated several of their play sets with, adding digital experiences to the physical toys.īut one of the most impressive integrations between iOS tech and physical Lego bricks just popped up on the App Store, and it’s built by a team of fans. Sure, there are some bugs because it’s beta, object rejection isn’t all that great and errors occur, but it’s a free app that has a helluva lot of potential for anyone with a box of LEGO bricks lying around. ![]() ![]() What’s more, it will even tell you where to locate the specific bricks you need in the pile, so the only thing you have to worry about is the assembly.
